Security Council adopted a resolution Wednesday to slap additional sanctions on Iran over its nuclear ambitions, including an extensive assets freeze and travel bans on the head of the country's nuclear research center and entities involved in nuclear and missile development. The resolution requires U.N. members to conduct cargo inspections on Iranian vessels under certain conditions and places new restrictions on Iranian imports of conventional weapons.
